Wildcat Football Academy
is now operated by The Boys & Girls Club
of Snohomish County
The Boys & Girls Club will expand the program with additional flag football options, cheerleading, strength, and conditioning.
Benefits:
- The program is run by youth development professionals, not parents. This will lead to long-term stability and focus on the development of the teams and players
- Volunteer head coaches – no parent head coaches – better for both the players and the team. Parents are allowed to assist with approval of the athletic director.
- All coaches and staff are required to complete a full background check
- Support and backing of the Boys & Girls Clubs of Snohomish County, a 75-year-old organization with deep roots in youth sports and a focus on helping our kids reach their full potential
- More competitive pricing to make programs accessible to all
- Scholarships are available based on need

Athletic Director
Jacob Hiatt
Jacob played semi-pro football, as a receiver and linebacker, winning a championship in 2017. He brings his skills and knowledge to the lucky kids he’s coached for the past 8 years. Coach Hiatt, wants everyone to be able to participate in sports, and to that end, in one season he coached three separate teams, because the club was short of volunteers. Rather than reducing the number of teams, he stepped up to coach these additional teams. He spent countless hours making sure everyone that wanted could get on the field.
IN 2022, He took a special group of Athletes to Las Vegas to compete in the NFL Flag Championship. When Jacob was recently asked what he liked most about working for The Boys & Girls Club, he commented “seeing the impact myself and the staff make on our kids on a day-to-day basis. The kids look up to the staff and the structure the club provides for them”.
